Frequently Asked Questions

Full Sun

This beautiful perennial garden will begin blooming in April with the blue salvia, and continue until the weather turns very cold. As the season progresses, the purple coneflower, red gaillardia and coreopsis will come into bloom, complementing the salvia. All the cultivars are very hardy, tolerant of our western slope soil and climate. Once established (by the second or third year), they will require minimal watering to continue flourishing.

Shade Garden

Do you have a shady area which needs a bit of color? These perennials will beautify an area under trees, returning year after year to enhance your landscape. Flowers will begin blooming early in the spring and continue until fall. As the season progresses, different blooms and colors will appear and fade. The magic of texture, form and evergreen color will continue until the snow blankets the earth.

Strip Garden

Dress up a sidewalk, patio or fenceline by planting a strip garden. From two to four feet wide, these gardens will add color and enhance your property value. This design incorporates a few annuals with the perennials for summer long splash. With lavender, it becomes an everlasting, fragrant garden.
